Soto ayam is chicken soup with vermicelli and sometime they add shredded cabbage and sliced tomato, the color is vary from light yellow to dark yellow, the yellowing color came from tumeric root that been used as one of the spices. Indonesian people like to eat this soup along with steam rice or “lontong” (hard-press steam rice cooking in banana leaf), and sometime for the additional you can have shrimp cracker and chili sauce - sambal.
